About five months after we moved here we decided it was appropriate to buy a “new to me” used car.  I had been driving a 1998 Subaru Outback Sport which is fine for one or two people, but it was our only car and we were using it to transport four adults, so it was cramped.  We searched for a a couple of weeks for the “perfect” car and settled on a low mileage Chevrolet Lumina.  It is comfortable enough for five adults and seems to get better gas mileage than the Subaru.  I like it a lot because the ride is soft and smooth and gives me the feel of driving an expensive luxury car.
