Decided to upgrade my Wordpress today after seeing all the new features the new version has, such as widgets and being able to tag posts instead of having to put them into catagories.

I am up in the air about changing the theme, and it something I may do soon. Finding the perfect theme is something I may just have to create myself, since there is nothing in the Wordpress theme directory that catches my eye. They are all too manly or too business-like. I want something whimsical and fun! If it’s not too hard, I might be able to make several and post mine on the directory to share.

This is my first post on my new Wordpress blog. So far so good - everything is working real well and is easy to understand.

I decided to launch a blog this year so I could have a place in cyberspace to write about whatever interests me. I was surprised at how easy it was to get the domain name registered and hosted. Then, my friend told me to use Wordpress because it is the best blogging software on the planet, so I figured I would give it a try.

Anyways, here goes!
